She really is this happy most of the time!

So this is where Emma hangs out when we're in the office/scrap room. She sits in her bouncy seat and plays and laughs and talks to us. She's so cool.

4 months!

Emma is 4 months old today. Took some really cute pictures of her today. Shelby actually took the first, I took the second. The headband kept falling down so it looked more like a sweatband than an adorable hair piece! She goes for her 4 month checkup next week - can't wait for more shots! ;) I'm anxious to see how much she weighs. She's got quite the belly and rolls on her! She's learned to take her binky out and put it back in by herself. She hasnt' rolled over, but gets up on her side a lot. And thankfully, she no longer minds being on her stomach so much. Still, her favorite thing is being held standing up, facing outward so she can see everything. It's very cool now how she recognizes us. She gets a big grin when she sees us. And boy does she like her tongue! She's constantly sticking it out. Yesterday in the car, she made a new noise - she made the raspberry sound. Very exciting. :) Anyway - here are the pictures!

Here's Emma with Shelby this afternoon. Notice the different outfit. It was actually outfit number 3. Pooped on the first, spit up on the second. And eventually she spit up all over this one too! She's now in PJs. I got Emma this tiger baseball hat at Gymboree yesterday. Yes, it's a boy's hat. But since Michael coachs the Tigers - it very fitting! How cute is she in it?

And this was last night. She's so tiny in out big chair! And see her without the remote - already clicker hog. Ha ha!

Weekend fun

So Saturday, Emma got to meet 3 of my scrapbook friends - Darcy (and her sister,) Rachel and Nichole. We met them at Archivers after spending the morning at my mom's. It was the big garage sale - I made $5.75. My nieces and nephew made more than me! It was great to meet them and of course Emma was loving all the attention.

Michael took her to a baseball game last night - don't ya just love her little pink tennis shoes?

I took this yesterday. I was sitting on the kitchen floor next to Emma just laughing really obnoxiously. It was an awful sound but she thought it was hysterical! She would laugh every time I did. The picture's a little blurry, but hey, that'll happen.

Cutie pie Emma

First off I have to say - I stink at coming up with titles for these posts! So unoriginal and boring! But I think Emma's cute enough to make up for whatever I lack in title creativity!

Emma is 17 weeks old today. This first picture was taken today at Grandma Sweeney's retirement luncheon. A luncheon that wasn't the greatest for Emma. She woke up fussy and it continued all day. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the bathroom lounge floor. ;) But, she looked adorable in her outfit (from Grandma Sweeney.) It was her firstime with a headband - no one mistook her for a boy today!

Yesterday, I put her in the highchair while we ate lunch. Grandma McIntyre and Grandma & Grandpa Sweeney came over to help me in the yard. It was a jungle out there. Literally. It was so bad that our neighbors on both sides commented on the difference in it last night. You just know that were saying "It's about time!" Anyway, I thought it I put her in the highchair she'd enjoy it, she'd be at our level, could look around. Well, she enjoyed it so much she went to sleep. Doesn't she look so tiny in there?

Sunday, Michael took Emma to church by himself because I had a bridal shower to attend. Don't they look so cute? I had to put the hat on Emma. Weather-wise? Soooo not necessary. Cuteness-wise? Definitely necessary. Of course, I'm sure Michael took it off as soon as they got in the parking lot!

She's doing much better at lifting her head when she's on her stomach. She doesn't cry as soon as we put her that way, but I don't think she's particularly fond of it either.
